Using lifelong experience, education, integrity and foresight, we expect to produce cattle and horses that are highly satisfying to a variety of customers.
We run our cowherd like most commercial outfits with the exception of intensive records, single bull breeding pastures, and the extensive use of AI and embryo transfer to supply you, as buyers, top notch seedstock. Our cows graze native high desert range with just salt and mineral supplement. We never creep feed our calves. We will not starve our cattle but they are never pampered. With the ever rising input costs of ranching, efficiency is of upmost importance. We need cows that will rebreed, be easy fleshing and wean growthy calves.
We produce SimAngus and Angus bulls and replacement females that are sold through our annual bull sale the last Saturday in March. We PAP test all of our bulls that sell. We also produce club calves that we market at the NILE and private treaty. We also have some fine AQHA horses that are offered as well.
Our breeding program yields frame 5-6 cattle that are complete and balanced. We utilize the best genetics we can find and March to our own drummer. We don’t chase fads or try to win popularity contests. We breed cattle that fit our environment with no time for nonsense.
